In short: NO. Once they have formed, visible varicose veins and spider veins will not disappear with exercise alone.
But….Certainly weight loss through diet and exercise you may reduce the chances of getting varicose and spider veins in the first place.
Other risks that YOU can control:
- Use of moisturizers and sunscreens to limit damage to the skin.
- Use of support hose or compression stockings to improve venous return. This is especially important if your job requires you to be standing most of the day or sitting at a desk all day without moving.
- Decreasing salt intake
- Maintaining a normal blood pressure, ideally without medication.
